Baby Girl Card

I love paper piecing so I couldn't resist the Challenge over at Less is More. For this card I cut out the Giraffes twice in brown and pink card then cut  holes in the pink card so the brown would show through for the Giraffe's markings. All I had to do then was to stick the two layers together. I used Craft Artist for the backing using a freebie digi pack from Computer Scrapbook.com. It's worth checking out as there lots of lovely freebies there.

Birds & Butterflies Cascade Card

I really enjoy designing these Cascade type cards and for this one I've used Birds and Butterflies sitting among leaves all of which were cut on my Cameo.

I am entering this in the Anything Goes challenge at Let's Craft & Create

Three New Cards

Hi everyone. I have had a busy few days but have managed to find time to get back to some crafting today between ironing and doing some housework and have come up with these three cards and backing papers. The colour on the photos is not quite right as I have had to buy a new camera and I haven't quite sussed out the settings for indoor photos yet - need to practice a bit more I think. I coloured the flowers on the middle card using promarkers not something I'm very adept at but I'm quite pleased with how they turned out.

Thanks to everyone who have left comments on my other cards - I really do appreciate it.

No 1 Dad Freebie

This is a card I am entering in C.R.A.F.T. Challenge 159 - Father's Day. I created the design in Illustrator and then cut it on my Cameo machine. I didn't really have any suitable card for the topper so I made it in to a png file so that I could print and cut on my machine. I thought I would should share the cutting file as well as the png in case anyone else would like to use it for print and cut. For those without a machine but would like to use the topper you can print the png file straight on to your own card design. Personal use only please.

Flourish Freebie

This is the flourish  that I used on my You're Invited card. I have now made it in to a cutting file and you can use it as a frame or, without the middle cut out, as a topper. I have also done it as a png frame in gold, black and ruby for anyone to use the image as I did on my card. Hope it's of some use.

You're Invited Card

I love flourishes so I am entering this card in a challenge at Less is More - a one layer card using a Flourish. I am hopeless at stamping so I designed the flourish frame myself using Adobe Illustrator, saved it as a png file and then imported it in to Craft Artist where I found the other two flourishes and the lace ribbon. All I had to do then was to type the sentiment and print the card. So easy !! Then disaster struck - it's been one of those days. First off my broadband has been playing up and then when I came to take the photo my camera wouldn't work so I've had to scan the card. Anyway after all that it occurred to me that my flourish would make a nice cutting file so when I've converted it I'll upload it to share along with the png file.

Life's A Beach Flip Flop Freebie Topper

Well the weather in my neck of the woods is nothing like summer so I though this little topper might brighten up the day. The Flip flops aren't joined together, I just overlapped them on the card. Can't share the backing as it's not my design but I hope the topper will come in useful anyway.

Best Dad Card

Well the weather here has been appalling today - non stop rain so a good excuse to stay in and do a bit of crafting. This card was made with Father's Day in mind but would also be OK for birthdays I think. I always struggle with backing papers for mens cards but I think this one works quite well so I have incuded it with the file which you can find here. Time to get back to designing something for the ladies now I think.

King For A Day

Made this one with Father's Day in mind but will work for birthdays too I think and with all the celebrations currently going on I think you will guess where I got my inspiration from !!

Gardener's Card

Well I hope the weather today is going to be better than yesterday as we had non stop rain here in Yorkshire and it was really chilly, had to turn the Central Heating back on !! Anyway apart from watching some of the Jubilee Celebrations on the TV I made this card with a gardening theme. I think this is more suitable for a man so I might make it up again with ladies in mind using flowery paper for the wellies and backing.

First of all I'd just like to say thank you to those of you who have been kind enough to leave comments on my cards and freebies. I really do appreciate it.

My card for today is a Graduation Card - I struggle for ideas for this kind of card  but this is what I came up with today. The template can be found here on my website.

Garden Gate Fold

This is a reworking of a template I did many years ago but which I only have in gsd format. I have had a lot of requests for svg and studio versions of the file but can't convert it so have come up with this version instead. The inner part of the card is like a stencil and I just put coloured paper behind it to give the flowers some colour. The template is available here.

Would just like to say thank you to  everyone who has left a comment about my freebies - I really appreciate you taking the time.
